Macro Monday – Ladybug eggs

Macrophotography is one of the most attractive types of photographic art. Unfortunately, it is unclear to the vast majority of those who try it. In essence, the purpose of MACROPHOTOGRAPHY is to capture in the images the less visible world and if it is possible to fit it into a photographic composition. So, as a definition, a macro photograph is one in which the size of the subject on the negative or image sensor is life size or greater.

Two years ago I had a post about the Ladybug’s life cycle in pictures.

Today I am able to show you again the first stage in becoming a ladybug – the egg stage. After two years, today I found some ladybug eggs again. Unfortunately, the wind has blown and the quality of the picture is not my favorite! But … it’s definitely a macro shot. The size of this group of eggs is less than 5mm so you will understand that the single egg size is very small.
