Macro Monday – Viper's bugloss( Iarba sarpelui in romanian)

For this edition of Macro Monday, I chose to show you a plant that in Romania grows naturally on uncultivated land, along railways and roadsides. It is a melliferous plant and with therapeutic value, being used in traditional medicine for antiseptic, antispasmodic, calming, emollient, healing properties. It is known as the viper’s bugloss. The flowers start pink and turn vivid blue and are 15–20 mm long.
