This fruit is abundant in my area at the moment. October is the month when Lanzones festival is celebrated in one of the islands in the Philippines. This fruit claims of many health benefits and its skin can also be used to drive mosquitoes away. I just love the refreshing sweetness of the fruit though there are varieties which are a little bit sour.

If you come to Asia hope this fruit is in season so you can taste them
I have never even heard of this fruit so I haven’t tasted it. What does it taste like?
It’s sweet sometimes sour and watery. Its taste is very refreshing.
Unfortunately, I don’t know this fruit. I’d be happy to try it.
I hope one day you will have the chance.

perhaps I know it by another name?
They said it’s called langsat or duku.

It sounds like a great fruit. I have never eaten it though.
I hope one day you get to taste it when you travel to the Philippines and some Asian countries.
I just bought 1 kilo of it the other day and it tastes good. It’s good to buy this fruit when in the season because the price is cheap.
I just bought a few hours ago, since it’s beginning to be out of season they now sell at more than 1 dollar per kilo at 60. Pesos.
Seeing the fruit I went to Google to find out its name in Indonesian because there are several types of fruit that look very similar. That fruit, Lanzones, we call it duku. Another fruit that looks like it is langsat.
I thought it’s called langsat in other countries.
In my place, duku and langsat are different.
I have never heard about that fruit, in fact it is the first time I see it.
We will discover lot of things in this site.
We do not have these fruits but do have sapotas that look like this. They do not grow however in clusters like this
I remember a fruit that also looks like this it’s longhan and taste like lychees. What’s the taste of sapotas.
