Call them what you will Jujubs or Jujips they are difficult to make. I have succeeded but rarely and I do not know why I was successful as most of the time I am not.
I love to eat jujips – they just melt in my mouth having different flavours. A touch of sourness in them makes them all the more inviting.
I normally try them at Christmas time and may be this time I will give it a try again. Keeping my fingers crossed. My problem is the sugar that is coated around them melts and that is what I want to know why.

Coat them only when they are cool with powdered sugar. Mom used to powder the sugar with a few grains of critic acid for more tangy taste.
I do squeeze a bit of lime juice and just sprinkle powdered sugar. It looks simple but the gelatin is the culprit. It has to be just this or just that. I give up (lol)
That food is alien to me and although it looks good I am curious about the ingredients.
The ingredients are just sugar, a touch of lime, geltain and water.
Never heard of them or maybe I know them with a different name.
They are also known as Turkish delights
It looks very tasty. I haven’t tried this yet.
My issue is with the sugar that is coated melts.
I used to like sweets like these as a child, but I am not much into sugary treats anymore.
I still have the craving for what I used to eat as a kid (lol)
hummmm water coming out of my mouth , i love it
I buy them sometimes but would like to make them too successfuly.
I haven’t tried these desserts yet … they are probably very good because they look great in the picture
If you like gelatin based products then you will like jujips.
Does anyone know how to withdraw money from virily to payoneer ?
We had these in the UK when I was little but they were called something different. The nearest I can find to them now is a sweet found in a bag of liquorice allsorts. It looks like yours in the picture but has liquorice in the middle.
They sure are for little ones but adults like me love them (lol)
I am not sure if I have seen them here or know exactly what they are. I see them in the picture but I still do not know what they are exactly. Are they a candy or just something sweet or not sweet at all?
They are prepapred from gelatin and tasty If you have a sweet tooth then jujips are for you (lol)
Thanks for clearing that up for me. Do you put them in the freezer for a period of time or just in the frig?
You do not have to keep in the freezer but just in the fridge
Maybe the humidity is the problem? They look delicious and I would also like to try making them. Do you have a recipe to share?
You will find loads of them on the Net. Good Luck
I just know them jelly candies but I love eating them, I haven’t had any in a long time,
I am going to give it a try this time.
