Jujubs

Call them what you will Jujubs or Jujips they are difficult to make.  I have succeeded but rarely and I do not know why I was successful as most of the time I am not. 

I love to eat jujips – they just melt in my mouth having different flavours.  A touch of sourness in them makes them all the more inviting. 

I normally try them at Christmas time and may be this time I will give it a try again. Keeping my fingers crossed.  My problem is the sugar that is  coated around them melts and that is what I want to know why.

  1. We had these in the UK when I was little but they were called something different. The nearest I can find to them now is a sweet found in a bag of liquorice allsorts. It looks like yours in the picture but has liquorice in the middle.
