Was out earlier after the rain and noticed the Honeysuckle is starting to bloom. So exciting to see new blooms. Spring is full of hope and gives you a feeling of renewal. I enjoy this time of the year in the yard. Especially after a rain.
Sharing again with the Macro Monday challenge.
Hope you are enjoying your day and this time of year in your world. I know it is different for some of you being in another country. The seasons may be a little different. But hopefully you have something to enjoy.
Just being alive is something to celebrate.

Thanks, I love seeing the bloom on the fence.
It looks like the Honeysuckle enjoys these raindrops!!! Very cool photo!!! And now we have coltsfoot blooming.
Yes they all seem t love the rain. Good to see you.
We had honeysuckle in Indiana. It grows so fast, and it smells amazing!
Yes it grows wild here. This started from a tiny vine and has taken over the fence. Love it. The birds do as well.
So beautiful. I have a honeysuckle tree but no blooms yet
Thank you so much, I love these blooms.
Well here in Canada Gatineau still no blooms and the trees (except the evergreens) still have no leaves even though our Canadian geese have made it back. There is still a large amount of snow which is melting slowly. I think we have honeysuckle up here too but I never tasted its nectar. I leave it to the hummingbirds. Very pretty picture of a lovely flower.
We are just starting, these are some of the first blooms. So exciting to see them appear. So bright in the sunshine. Would love to see the geese, how great you have so much to look at. We have high 70 degrees and sunshine today. Like a summer day almost. Humminbgirs love the honeysuckle. Thank you!
Honeysuckle is, I think but I am not sure, one of the flowers we liked to pick when we were kids and we suck the tips to get the sweet juice (nectar) there.
I experienced spring in Australia and truly it is magical and felt like you are breathing in new hopes and dreams. Stayed in Tasmania, so that is the reason it felt that way.
Yes that is what we did as well. Great memories! These are actually called Japanese Honeysuckle. I guess the color is the difference. When they start blooming more, the blooms will get more colorful, red and yellow. They are stunning.
Would love to visit Australia one day. What great memories. Thanks for visiting. 🙂
Always a pleasure to touch base with you ???
the weather is nice here, gonna retire my winter jacket for several months
Yes- tis the season. Get out the shorts.
already on it. and loving life
You are a happy person it seems, good for you!
wake up happy, go to bed happy, smiling for most of the day
Beautiful photo. Sometimes I feel it is great just to be alive, sometimes not.
Thank you very much. I feel the same way every single day. Of course I get down like others but I alway get back up. Glad you do as well. Hope things are ok in your world.
Me too Carol; I always get back up too. Things are a bit up and down for me at present; hope they might settle down soon. Hope you are OK.
Good to hear. Yes I am ok, up and down here as well. Spring is a good time for me, when things start blooming it makes me happy. Sending smiles and hugs to you my friend.
Thank you. Same to you Carol. Have you any idea when our Dashboards will update with our March earnings? As we are now well into April. I am waiting to cash out, and I estimate I should be able to, once we get our March earnings. But as usual, it is taking ages to update.
The Honeysuckle bloom looks awesome. What a great message at the end matching the beauty of this plant. “Just being alive is something to celebrate”. I wish everyone takes note of this and remembers it always.
Thank you, cannot wait for the later blooms, they will be more red and yellow colors. You are right, we are blessed to be alive!
Still covered in snow. It will melt when rain comes.
Soon you will see spring I hope.
Even in my country (Slovenia), there are more and more signs of spring. The first flowers will flourish, some trees also have flowers
That is wonderful news to hear. Glad you are enjoying spring as well.
It’s getting hotter here … some of our plants are budding …
Yes unfortunately it is here as well, do not like the heat.
Same here …
And when we get rain (not heavy), it gets very humid …
Nice honeysuckle we also have it in New Zealand. When I was a child, the Maori children next door showed me how to get the nectar out of honeysuckle and we ate other garden flowers.
Always liked honeysuckle.
Yes we did the same growing up, such great memories.
Such a pretty capture after the rain. It has been raining off on on here, but most of the time it has been sunny.
Thank you my friend, it was lovely to see them bloom.
