Happy Day for Everyone ~ 365 Photos Challenge 281

After a few days of watching Susie’s anxiety since she had a miscarriage, this afternoon I finally brought Susie and the fat boy to the vet. The boy must be checked again to ensure his health while we bring Susie so that the vet can help her to be a good foster mother for the boy. My decision became solid after many suggestions from friends in Virily, especially from The Goddess Pet Zaklina.

Although previously the vet has taught us a way to do it, we are less willing to take risks. As long as the boy was carefully examined Susie was put in a cage for she was very nervous, and in the cage the anxiety peaked. But after the boy’s examination finished, the vet asked me to take Susie to the examination table immediately.

After checking Susie’s milk, the vet then took Susie’s liquid from her genitals and then smear it to the boy’s body. It only takes a little time to adapt until they are like mothers and children who love and need each other. Bau Susie has succeeded in ensuring her that the boy is her own child.

Susie’s anxiety has disappeared instantly. Even though we still have to give the milk boy because Susie only has very little, even almost none, but seeing Susie is happy and the boy has a mother who can take care of her makes us feel satisfied and happy too. Well, this is a happy day for everyone at home.

For this happiness, I thank you for all of you who already gave me valuable support, input, and advice.

  2. Such a lovely scene! I also have a cat pet for the first time. What I observe from Neferpitou was when I came home from the office, she would run to me so I would cuddle her. After a few minutes, she would start biting me. I think that an expression of love.

    • We’re so moved when we see what happened at that time.
You’re right, Sharon. I have some cats that so spoiled and always wait for me every time I home. Waiting, run, and meowing to hug, and yes, they’ll do their love bite.

  3. This really warmed my heart, such an amazing story! I have heard of such cases, but I haven’t personally seen it.
I think fighting is normal, and through this game mothers prepare their little ones for hunthing and real fights when they grow up.

  4. Now, you can relax, my friend. 🙂 From now on, let them take care of each other. Although it may seem brutal to us, cat mom is just playing with her baby and through this playing, she teaches him to hunt and to fight. In fact, baby girls get less brutal training than boys, because boys have to be stronger and tougher. And because the fat boy is the first one, Susie will prepare him to be an alpha male one day. So, don’t worry if you hear him complaining, it’s for the greater cause. 🙂

  5. Aww … that is sooo sweet … the boy looks comfortable and secure while Susie seems comfortable too!!

It’s a very nice sight, very warm.
Fighting, I guess if no one gets too violent or hurt then it should be fine.

  6. I think we always have to remember that dogs and cats are actually predators, more so even then their human masters. It is a tough world, sometimes tough love it what is called for.

  8. Well isn’t that a pretty picture. I am so glad that Susie adopted the little guy. She might not totally feel that it is hers but I am sure she will get over it and let her maternal instincts kick in. And as for the hard fighting, I think I would only worry if either one of them draws blood. I am so happy to see Susie with this little kitty…. this is indeed a happy ending of sort despite your loss of the little female.

    • We are very happy and grateful because Susie can easily accept the boy to be her child, and that means she can stay in the house without we need to worry about anything.

Sometimes Susie did bite too hard until the little boy screamed but I saw that Susie was very concerned about her child. She always licked him up, even when we gave the boy a drink.

Well, as you said, this is really a happy ending for both of them, and also for us. Thanks a lot, History Gal.
