Sharing a Fritillary Butterfly with Kim’s Color Crazy Challenge, the color orange for this week. I am patiently waiting for spring. It is very near as I am starting to see some blooms appear, gradually.
Similar to a butterfly, I’ve gone through a metamorphosis, been released from my dark cocoon, embraced my wings, and soared. ~Dana Arcuri

Nice capture on Butterfly.
Wonderful capture! It’s still too cold here.
Very beautiful. I am still trying to emerge from my cocoon. The Spring gives me new hope!
Thank you Maggie. Good to see you. 🙂 Hope is what we all need more of. Take care.
Your butterfly photos always please my senses. Just love it
Thank you my friend, that is so kind.
Yes, I saw one on my hike a few days ago. I tried to capture it with the camera, but my shadow scared it away. It looked like this one, oddly enough.
They are common but so beautiful, as they all are.
It’s a very beautiful butterfly, great shot. I am still waiting for the warmer weather so the butterflies will start appearing.
Thank you and good to see you. I am also waiting, this was from last year.
I have not seen the butterfly this year … I saw bees and axes
Same here. I am also waiting, this was from last year.
I thought it was a little too soon for the butterfly … I really saw him today and also photographed
I will look for your photo from today. 🙂
I’ll be publishing him another week when it’s a yellow week dear friend
Yes, as you know there are many Monarchs around Auckland.
Indeed, I see them from time to time.
i saw two bushes with the full butterflies… i was in awe. I took pictures of them but i m not sure if I was able to capture well
They can be a challenge as they are scared easily.
yes, but amazing to see a bush full of butterflies, mating.
I saw one a week or two ago, it was a monarch I think…
Lucky you to be graced with a monarch. My favorite.
they aren’t called monarchs for nothing!
It’s beautiful and matches the challenge!
Yesterday afternoon I saw a white butterfly but didn’t have time to photograph it!
Thank you Albert. I thought it might work for the challenge. The white ones are always so busy.
Pleasure is mine, Carol.
The white butterfly is too agile and can’t stay still.
I saw a butterfly this year
Good for you, not time here yet.
Cute orange butterfly. I have not seen butterfly yet.
Thanks, we have not yet seen one this year.
For the most part it’s still below freezing here. I haven’t seen any insects.
We still have cold weather coming next week.
Us too. It will probably be another month before we start seeing anything with six legs.
Oh well, we will just have to wait.
I’m going through withdrawal.
