I never count the days! I am trying to enjoy every single day without paying attention how many days left till the beginning of the next year! Lovely post though!
Yes as I am as well.
I only knew one of them … lol the rest are all guesses …
October 1st used to be our Children’s Day but now they change it to “first Friday of October”.
Thanks for sharing and every day is celebrating something it seems
are all answers should be YES? lol
Yes they are all correct in the US.
I have to ask, I missed 4 days in the past year (should be at 314) but you are more than 30 days ahead of me, I started the contest 10 days after you. How is that possible?
I got behind when I lost my Dad. So in catching up I would double up on some days. Then onI some days recently I have posted two at a time since the system has been crazy, wasn’t sure if I could post on some days.
Great information to know, and great photo!
Thanks Courtney, they were all correct.
In my country, October 1 is celebrated as a Pancasila Sakti (Panca = 5, Sila = basis, Sakti = effective, holy, powerful, endowed with magical power, etc.) day. Pancasila is the basis of our country, commemorated to remind the power of Pancasila to thwart the communist party rebellion.
That is good to know Albert, thanks for sharing.
Your writing here is that reminds me To share it.
I answered YES to all except #5. In the Gregorian calendar, October isn’t the eigth month. But ‘octo” in Latiin stands for ‘eight’. Until January and February were inserted into the Roman Gregorian calendar. Hmmm…
🙂
I forget there are other countries and traditions here so some of my information may be different. Thank you for sharing.
