  1. I only knew one of them … lol the rest are all guesses …
    October 1st used to be our Children’s Day but now they change it to “first Friday of October”.

  2. I have to ask, I missed 4 days in the past year (should be at 314) but you are more than 30 days ahead of me, I started the contest 10 days after you. How is that possible?

    • I got behind when I lost my Dad. So in catching up I would double up on some days. Then onI some days recently I have posted two at a time since the system has been crazy, wasn’t sure if I could post on some days.

  3. In my country, October 1 is celebrated as a Pancasila Sakti (Panca = 5, Sila = basis, Sakti = effective, holy, powerful, endowed with magical power, etc.) day. Pancasila is the basis of our country, commemorated to remind the power of Pancasila to thwart the communist party rebellion.

  4. I answered YES to all except #5. In the Gregorian calendar, October isn’t the eigth month. But ‘octo” in Latiin stands for ‘eight’. Until January and February were inserted into the Roman Gregorian calendar. Hmmm…
