My contribution to the challenge of crazy color is a beautiful orchid. Raising orchids is not easy. I have had a long problem when and how much to water an orchid.Orchids are best watered from above. Pour them so as to well soak the entire substrate.Only water for watering, but preferably do not water the plant itself. Orchids that are planted on pieces of branches or bark are immersed together with this bark from the root systems into a water-filled bucket. We also water the orchids that we have planted in hanging baskets.Recommendation: All you have to do with water and orchids, that is all watering, fertilizing and spraying, always in the morning. Exceptionally, any additional spraying can only be done in the summer at noon if the sun does not shine on our orchids. This gives the plant plenty of time to dry before cooling down again in the evening or reducing its overnight heating in winter. This prevents harmful cooling in the root area, which is a shock to the orchid and, of course, the development of rot.

I have killed more orchids than i can remember. There was a time when they flourished in my patio garden. the evening sun that I get is the culprit.
