n addition to the mountain lodge in Tamar, there is the chapel of Mary Help. The Chapel of Mary Help in Tamar was built in 1936. The plans were made by architect Skubic of Ljubljana and blessed on 23 August 1936 by Bishop dr. Gregorij Rozman. In 2002, the chapel was completely renovated following the idea of the artist p. Marko Rupnik. The chapel shed on the front wall depicts two angels. The angel on the right is all in motion, with a climbing rope over his shoulder, holding a scepter with the Holy Trinity sign in his hand. The image of the angel on the left, however, shows a character standing firmly in place. The chapel is the patron saint and protector of mountaineers who climb high mountains.
