Baby Blackbird ~ Black and White Friday

Still seeing baby birds in my backyard. This blackbird was captured while he was hiding in a pine tree. Sharing with Friday’s Black and White Challenge.

So cool to see so many baby birds this year. No bluebird babies but I have many other birds I have never seen before with their babies. A high trade off, but better luck next year with the bluebirds I suppose. They are in the yard, but no babies.

Have a great Friday and weekend everyone! Happy Father’s Day to all the fathers out there!

  1. I’m still waiting to see the baby birds. It should happen soon, but we had a lot of cool weather before the heat wave and that slowed the birds down.

  2. Perhaps, Carol, this is a new reality. That you are the place where new birds come to be. That the garden you’ve built is the bringer of new life to the world.

  3. I am missing watching birds in India since the number is going down at a rapid rate but I will be back to my second home in 10 weeks where different birds come and sit in my garden.

    • How sad the numbers are decreasing. Do you know the reason? Glad you have another home to enjoy the birds in the garden. Thanks for your comments.

      • Funny how we can get so caught up in one thing and cannot see the forest for the trees, as they say. At the time I was paying no attention to the tree, only the bird.
