Black and White Friday

Here’s a photo for the Black and White Friday Challenge and it has not been edited. I believe this is a white wagtail and I find it extremely cute. Have you seen this bird before?

I am not a big fan of black and white photography, I love colors too much, but I think that black and white photography works great for portraits, and for creating the right mood or emotion for certain pictures. It removes certain details, but it also eliminates distractions from the photo.

What do you think? Do you like black and white photography?

  • Black-and-white or color?

    • Black-and-white
    • Color
    • It depends on the photo

  1. when did black and white pictures become the purview of artists?

    Sorry.

Can’t help that. I grew up with black and white pictures as the norm. Color film was new when I first started taking pictures.

personally, the choice is that of the photographer!
