Here’s a photo I took in Pomorie, Bulgaria.
You can see the sand spit between the lake (left) and the sea (right). I really love the color difference. I took this photo in the early summer when the Black sea is the most beautiful. It has this turquoise color that reminds me of some exotic places.
On the other hand, the color of the lake reminds me of lazurite or sodalite. (I love minerals!)
And then we have the sky that’s is different every minute.
I’ve written about this small town at the seaside many times. Check out some of the posts about Pomorie:

Lovely post
Thank you so much, Pamela!
Very pretty. It reminds me of a few places I’ve seen and a few that I haven’t, but want to see, like the confluence of the white nile and the blue nile.
Thank you so much, Rex! The world is full of beautiful places!
It is very beautiful and beautiful is Bulgaria

Thank you, Nina!
The beautiful places in small Bulgaria are many.
I agree with you, Elenka! Pomorie is definitely one of them!
You show a majesty that is worthy of praise!
Thank you so much, Albert!
Very much welcome, Ellie
What a fabulous image. The color difference in the water is stunning. I love the stones reference. The lake is the same color of lazurite.
Thank you so much for your kind words, Kim!
Very beautiful colours, Ellie. It should be called Тюркоазено море, not Черно море 🙂 😀
Thank you so much, Norman! It seems that it’s getting cleaner every year! 🙂
I was there about 14 years ago, and it seemed quite clean already!
I’m happy to hear that! It varies from place to place, but I feel that sometimes it’s portrayed as not so clean in Western media.
