I live in a beautiful town in the Motherlodes, just seventy miles from Yosemite National Park. This is the place where the Gold Rush began in 1849, so this place is full of history, and I happen to love this place.
We have a beautiful Community College, I attended here, and the view inspired many poems. I remember sitting outside looking at the duck pond, with an open notebook writing poetry.Washington Street is full of old buildings and history. Yes this is California, but it’s not all beach and surfing, up here it is often Roping and Riding.
We love our classic cars up here In the last weekend of July we have car show.

Washington is such a beautiful state.
Nothing like some home town, small town lovin’. Reminds me of home.
Love the classic yellow car. Very cool.
Gorgeous. Is it true that Yellowstone just experienced 60 earthquakes in the past couple of days?
The second picture looks ominous. Washington is such a beautiful state.
Thank you I’m actually in California our Main Street is Named Washington Street if you’re familiar with the California Gold Rush I’m locates near Columbia!

Beautiful
I love it (CA) and this is why, its not all beaches!!! We have so much to offer here. I love your area, and the town looks untouched since the gold rush 😉
Parts of it are, Washington street has a lot of history, but we have newer sections as well. Downtown Columbia is pretty much untouched though as it is a state park.
Beautiful country!
Thank you.
