I downloaded some photos from my Canon 7 D EOS after 2 weeks of images on my camera.

So I will take you through and tell you where each one came from.

The first is of the Waikato by Mercer.

#1 Aloe Vera flowers at Puketutu Island

Puketutu Island is down a road from Mangere Sewage works to an island in the Manukau harbour.

There are walking trials but the rest of the island is private land.

These are very unique, love the blooms. Never seen aloe blooms.

#2 Silhouette of Grey Heron by Puketutu Island

There is a lagoon by Puketutu Island, it is full of bird life.

#3 Ducks & Black Swans Puketutu Island.

On the road to Puketutu Island there is water on both sides, this is where some bird life thrives. The water is from the Sewage works that has been purified.

#5 Hampton Downs

Hampton Downs is near Te Kauwhata and Rangiriri where my sister lives in Te Kauwhata

I visit it to get petrol when I drive down south because their petrol is cheaper than in Auckland.

It’s a shame about the lamp standard on this one – had it been facing the other way it would have worked as a frame, like the trees in the background.

#6 Hampton Downs Farmstead

I could not help but notice the silhouettes of the trees by the farmhouse and the cloud and sky layers.

  Puketutu Island is not large but it has a large hill and surrounding land.You could easily walk around it in a day. Thanks Lado

love the images! The picture near the sewage plant looks a little dicey…is that raw sewage or processed sewage?
