Lynn Shore Drive is a 3 mile paved walkway that starts at King’s Beach in Swampscott and ends with Nahant Beach and its spectacular view of Boston. The most dramatic attraction on the shore drive are the tidal surges. At times it almost seems like a dance-off as one surge tries to beat the other out. During hurricane season herds of people and photographers come to get a glimpse, it’s an amazing sight. I was fortunate enough to capture this one a few weeks ago. I will be posting more of these beautiful waves.

Whenever you write about Boston, some part of me tries to relate it to Lovecraft. I need to broaden my horizons…
