Here are some wildflowers that are blooming right now in San Diego North County California.
These are some Nasturtium Flowers.
From red, orange and yellow. .
They are so pretty.
A bit closer.
You can eat every part of this plant. From its seeds to the flowers.
The taste is like a sweet mustard. You can find tons of recipes online.
You can use the flower in salads. The seed pods as a caper substitute.
You can blend the leaves into butter or soft cheese for a spicy flavor.
These grow wild here but they can grow anywhere for an edible garden.

Since you said it was fully edible, I wanted to taste it. Unfortunately, from here, they are like “untouchable” mobsters. Well, at least I can enjoy the beauty.
