Here are some childhood friends in the beautiful brown volcanic soil I know well
They live under rocks and are very small. If something grabs them by the tail, the tail drops off. A way of surviving.
Cats put these creatures under risk.
This was taken at the Auckland Zoo
I don’t like reptiles. I don’t know why I don’t like them, they all remind me of snakes
We don’t have snakes in New Zealand but I am not sure I want to meet a snake…Thanks Vidocka
I don’t like any creeping animals, my dear friend
Fair enough these hurt no one… Australian lizards and snakes and spiders are dangerous..
I’d rather meet a lion in the jungle than a snake, dear Pamela
I agree with you Lado and hope not to meet a snake
I hope so too, dear Pamela
They look quite huge … I’d run when I see them!
Actually these type are very small. Your hand is larger than these,
Cats, domestic, put many creatures at risk. A sad reality of our world now.
Yes, it is so true Doc, you cant change the nature of cats but I cant help but love them
Honestly, I am not a fan of cats. I grew up with a siamese cat, well that is enough said.
Oh , i am afraid of lizard ,

cats love to grief lizards. the ones at my house do the tail trick…
