Telling jokes can help many people laugh, and feel better about their day. There are also people that tend to want to tell bad jokes. Here is an example of a bad joke that hurt someone’s feelings that i was a witness to.
Man- “How many wrinkles does a jack-ass have around his ass?”
Woman”-I don’t know how many?”
Man- Smile and i will count them
I am just writing about this to help everyone know to think about how sometimes jokes are not a joke. If a joke hurts someone it is not a joke.
Most people just tell good jokes, but a few people need to read this.

It’s annoying some people like to end with “it’s just a joke!” and they expect others to just accept it or call them petty.
If your joke hurt someone, it hurts. If you don’t wanna apologise, at least don’t rub into it.

Usually, I consider whether my joke will succeed in making people laugh or not, if it is likely to fail, I choose to send a prayer.
People do see humor differently. What is funny to some is offensive to others. I try to have a thick skin and hope that are not talking about me personally.
