We all realize that any trends; fashion, hair, accessories, jewelry, and others are constantly changing. Something we have been proud of in the past, being a symbol of a certain social class, in other times the symbol may appear to be old, outdated and even “classless”.
To meet two challenges at once, today I want to just show some of the old tie collections I’ve used in the past.
I just picked out a few that contained yellow from hundreds of ties that are now almost never touched. Times are changing, even Presidents rarely use ties. If in the past the tie indicates the status of our presence in general community and its brand shows our class in our specific community environment, now no longer, at least not too.
On the other hand, there is a time when such symbols are so important and very tortious if such attributes are deprived of us, and vice versa there are personal times when the symbols are in fact very oppressive to the chest.
There was a time when this statement had opened my eyes “Suffering is a sign that you’re out of touch with the truth. Suffering is given to you that you might understand that there’s a falsehood somewhere, just as physical pain is that you know that there is disease or illness somewhere. Suffering points out that there is falsehood somewhere. Suffering occurs when you clash with reality. When your illusions clash with reality when you falsehoods clash with the truth, then you have suffered. Otherwise, there is no suffering. “This is an excerpt from De Mello.

As you say, times change. There was a time when I always wore a tie in public, but now I hardly ever do so!
Exactly, the era has passed, either just a trend that is spinning, or forever…
Suffering is required in order to grow maturely and spiritually — but one has a choice to deal it positively or negatively. Blaming the fate or God or anyone or anything will not lessen the intensity of suffering and we will not grow by passing the buck. Facing it squarely usually works for me. Grab the bull by its horns, deal with it and wait for it to pass – because, in the end, everything will change the same way the cycle of seasons change. It does not mean I never shed a tear nor that it does not tear me up inside – but you can fight it, or you can flow with it. Our choice.
That’s the right attitude based on the correct principles of right consciousness, of someone who is strong and courageous! Hehe…
Yeah I aged to 137 since I get into the path hahahahaha. Most people even when they are old are trapped in adolescent maturity – wanting both freedom and dependence at the same time. If only I can tame my mischievous and irreverent soul a bit – but that would be going against the grain and would create me unnecessary suffering lol
After childhood, the traps on all of us are usually getting stronger, so don’t change. Hehe… There is a wise excerpt that says this; “A society that manages to defuse its rebels managed to keep its security but lost its future.”
Those ties are beautiful, keep tha mas fashion is ciclical and one day they will be the must have again.
I also think so, like all along, unfortunately, when the trend comes later, I’ll be too old to wear it. Hahaha…
Well done! Nice picture!
Thank you very much, Georgi
We all need to look around and help ourselves. I love the yellow.
Help and support are always Divine, but they are only delivered through everything around us, including and especially our friends.
Thank you very much, Elenka
Love the yellow and blue combination. Beautiful!
The DeMello excerpt speaks volumes. We should not suffer but sadly things come along and we have no choice. Our choice is to get through it and carry on.
You’re right, Carol. If we choose to sit in the garden then we also have chosen to accept the presence of strong winds or breezes, and if we choose to stay home, then we are also ready to at least feel bored, and your choice to get through it and carry on is precise and hopeful.
It is beautiful, unfortunately, it is unused. Hehehe… Thanks a lot, Carol
Wonderful use of yellow! I love old ties! This are super. Love all the designs and patterns.
Together with these ties, I also include another yellow for your #colorcrazy, Kim! Thanks for the compliment too…
Thank you Albert, I love seeing all the color!!
My daughter in law made scarves out of her dads old ties. and dog collars. They really turned out great.
Is it all yellow too? And do you post it too?
I didn’t ever take pictures of them. I should of! They were all colors, patterns, textures, and styles. He kept all of his ties that he ever got. There was about four huge cardboard boxes of them.
Wow! That is very much, Kim.
Great posts! At first I thought the posts was a quiz lol. The message here I hope helps a family member of mine who seems not to know what direction she is going. This message should help everyone that is troubled feel the answer within themselves. Your best yet!
A quiz? Hahaha… I am even happier if a small drop of ideas can help someone! Your appreciation is so valuable, LaJenna, thank you very much, my friend.
