Do you enjoy watching the moon? I do!! This is why I often photograph it. But what do I know about the moon? Almost nothing!
I only know It is considered a strange celestial body because of the many physical properties that scientists can not explain.
Unlike other moons in the Solar system, our moon has a strange orbit. It revolves around the Earth with a 5 degree tilt. All the other moons gravitate around their planets on the equator.
Some lunar rocks contain processed metals such as brass, uranium 236 and neptunium 237, which can only be obtained artificially.
And for the enigma to remain enigmatic until the end, we always see the same face of the Moon!
Quite enigmatic our Moon, do not you think?
Tomorrow we will have Pink Full Moon. I can not wait to see it!
Until then, I have these photos I took last night, for the Sky Sunday Challenge.

Why is the Moon sometimes white and sometimes yellow in the sky?
During the day it was as if on your picture, and at night it was mostly yellow.
Because of the sun and the reflection of the sun’s air.
I am a moon child in a certain sense of the word
I do not know much about moon child. Only that its mind is always out of this world or they are born under the Cancer zodiac sign( like my daughters?)! Are you born under the Cancer zodiac sign?
I meant it in a more occult sense, but not really. I just read a lot of books…
I am a lover of the moon, and as a lover, I feel very curious why the moon is still so mysterious even though it is the object of the closest universe to our earth. Really, I am not satisfied with all the lessons and information available about the moon. I think you should give me more explanation about these celestial beings.
How can I give you more information if I do not know? I know maybe fewer things than you. In Genesis, it is said that the moon was created by God to light our nights! Conclusion: The moon is just… a mysterious lantern!???
I agree if the moon is a lantern, and therefore I am not even sure that the size is 25% of the earth, as well as the distance, its source of light and else…
We can not be sure of anything! That’s what the scientists say! ☹
I love the moon, especially when it is full. Great photo my friend.
I love the moon in all its phases. ?
Great Images , Some people around the world believe that such moon is captured by Ghost
Interesting! I didn’t know that!
I was watching full moon last night.
I think last night Moon was not in the full phase. It will be Full Moon today. I’m glad you like to watch the moon
Yes and no… sometimes at night I look out of my window and see the moon, I’d stop and look at it … but usually I don’t …
I know very little about the moon and I go out and look for it every evening.
The moon knows how to keep their secrets. That’s why we do not know much about it.
I do enjoy watching the night sky and the moon is a big part of that. I am a fan of observational astronomy because we all share the same sky. I have photographed the moon often also. As they say, “… and keep looking up!”
When I was a child I used to spend many hours looking to the sky and trying to discover the Milky Way, the Big Dipper, Little Dipper, the Polar Star, and other stars..
We should teach all children the sky. It certainly helps me to remember that there is one planet that we are on. One planet, one species, ….
Our children are no longer used to watching the sky, as we did. They are more concerned with watching the phone than looking to the sky!
Such a beautiful moon view.
