Still seeing baby birds in my backyard. This blackbird was captured while he was hiding in a pine tree. Sharing with Friday’s Black and White Challenge.
So cool to see so many baby birds this year. No bluebird babies but I have many other birds I have never seen before with their babies. A high trade off, but better luck next year with the bluebirds I suppose. They are in the yard, but no babies.
Have a great Friday and weekend everyone! Happy Father’s Day to all the fathers out there!

I’m still waiting to see the baby birds. It should happen soon, but we had a lot of cool weather before the heat wave and that slowed the birds down.
Most of the babies have left the yard. I still see a few blackbirds.
I know that we have some nesting robins with young. I’m not sure where they have the nest this year as it isn’t in the regular spot, but I know that they have nestlings.
Perhaps, Carol, this is a new reality. That you are the place where new birds come to be. That the garden you’ve built is the bringer of new life to the world.
Oh wow that would be cool to think about Doc. That really gives me purpose.
Thank you for these words. Much needed.
Bringer of new life, yes that does fit your well!!!
Too kind, but I will take it, especially today. 🙂
It is given freely, for every day!
Lovely photo in Black & white
Thank you Pam. These babies are so cool to watch.
Yeah , I have planned to long drive this weekend
Stay safe and enjoy your trip.
Hello
after a long time I’m happy to be back
if I have weekend plans
a trip to the coast
happy Saturday
Again, so glad to see your return.
Enjoy your trip to the coast.
Lovely shot, birds always capture my imagination.
Thanks, he had just fledged for the first time for the nest. Their instincts are amazing.
I am missing watching birds in India since the number is going down at a rapid rate but I will be back to my second home in 10 weeks where different birds come and sit in my garden.
How sad the numbers are decreasing. Do you know the reason? Glad you have another home to enjoy the birds in the garden. Thanks for your comments.
A wonderful shot. I have not seen any bird cubs yet. I wish you a pleasant weekend.
Thanks, I have had a backyard full this year. So happy. Thank yoU!
And I wish the same pleasant weekend to you my friend.
I love this picture. It’s full of artistic lines.
Apart from that, you have many good things for many partners with their baby birds.
Thanks, it was a treasure to find this baby hidden away in my tree. This was taken from down under looking up through the pine needles.
Funny how we can get so caught up in one thing and cannot see the forest for the trees, as they say. At the time I was paying no attention to the tree, only the bird.
I plan a good rest this weekend as the weather is perfect. Nice shot.
That is great, enjoy the restful weekend. Thank you.
This weekend is Father’s Day weekend. A sad time for me. But I have memories.
Nice picture, dear Carol….
Thank you my dear Lado, appreciate you.
I thank you too … I also respect you very much, my dear friend
I know you do, I would not call you friend if I ever doubted you.
Have a great weekend.
You also have a nice weekend … I hope it is covered with the sun
We are suppose to have heat and sunshine. I prefer cool, but I will enjoy.
I love this one!
It’s artistic!
Thanks, I was down under, shooting up to get it!
I never thought about the artistic side of the photo. I am too deep into birdwatching!
Have a great weekend my friend.
Sometimes, art is produce by accident and not deliberately, you just show that! 🙂
Thank you, Carol, you too, have a good day!
