You got 7 out of 13 right!
Okay, you got more than 50% so you have a pass 🙂 Thanks for taking the quiz!
8/13, like this quiz very much, especially questions with the Norse gods (ha-ha, try to guess why :). Thank you so much for this joy!!!
Well done, Anastasia! I am happy you enjoyed the quiz a lot 🙂
Boy, I really had to remember back for this one. I scored 7 out of 13. Great quiz.
You got over the 50% mark! Thanks for playing 🙂
not to nitpick but technically each week is slightly longer than 7 days so the real answer is 1.3 more seconds per week!
365.25 days in a year.
great quiz norman.
Thanks, Doc! But please help me understand how a week is 1.3 seconds longer than 7 days 😮
a year is 365.25 days
.25 days is 6 hours
or 3600 seconds
it is actually .8 seconds or so per day
4.8 seconds per week
Ah, but you’re talking about a solar year, whereas the calendar year is composed of whole days, as is the week 🙂
so why then is there a leap year?
Leap years exist for the reason you point out: that there is a difference between the lengths of the solar year (approximately 365.25 days) and the calendar year (365 days). But there is no connection between the week and the calendar. The week is simply a period of exactly seven days, and 7 * 24 * 60 * 60 = 604800

we add that up and consume the time in a leap year
but that really isn’t correct.
A lot of guesses and was somehow lucky to score 4. An interesting quiz.
Sometimes guessing can be fun too! Thanks for doing the quiz, Intro 🙂
I got 2 correct. Interesting and fun quiz.
I’m glad you enjoyed the quiz, Mama. The whole point is to have fun, and if we learn something along the way, then that’s an extra 🙂
This was a great quiz to learn about the days of the week and I got 4 just by guessing
