5/10, very interesting film noir quiz, thank you so much for sharing!!!
That’s a good score really. The Dark Corner is a great flick. Keeno kino! Lucille Ball is surprising and very good in it.
Thanks for doing the quiz.
I got six out of ten . . .
That is a good score. Some of my friends who are fans of these movies did not do that well. And there are a couple of hard questions in there. Thanks for playing!
Great quiz. I have 5 correct answers
That’s pretty good. It was hard for people who had seen the movies. Some actors in these flicks ended up on television playing very different kinds of roles.
Thanks for playing!
What a cool quiz! I love the title
Walk The Dark Street is a title frame of the movie. I like the genre. I collected a bunch that were filmed in SF.
Hmm, my score dropped to 4, from 6 a year ago! Still a great quiz 🙂
Thanks so much Norman for going twice. If you haven’t seen Dark Corner it’s a good one. Most noir are available on You Tube free.
7 out of 10 well nice post
*see below* LOL
& out of 10 well nice post
You must be fan of the movies. 2 of the questions were really a bit obscure. Anyway that’s a good score. Cheers 🙂
5 out of 10.
5 is pretty good – even fans of the genre haven’t done much better than that. Good score. Cheers!
Not seen any of these films but interesting
If you wanted to start with one I’d say DOA is one of the greats. I have studied the genre a bit and collect the ones made in San Francisco. (along with a few others)

5 crazy guesses! 🙂
Guesses count, ha, ha, ha. Exactly the same as if you knew for sure. 🙂
hahah thumbs up!
Got 3/10 right
That’s respectable – thanks for giving it a shot!
Got 3 out of 10 only but I got lot of fun. Heheh
Thanks for taking it and I’m glad you had fun. Cheers 🙂
3 only but I am not much aware 🙂
That’s good though. These are old movies and it wasn’t an easy quiz even for those who have seen them. A lot of time may have passed. Thanks for playing 🙂
I got six, so not bad and I wasn’t guessing
Even for a fan of films, and this genre film, six is not bad. I feel the films in the quiz are watch- worthy but a few are lesser known. I was hoping it would be interesting to those, like you, who know the films a bit. Most all of them are available free on the internet at this point.
You did great – DOA is of course one of my favorites.
Only got 6 correct. Not familiar with many. But a fun quiz!
6 is really good. Some of those movies are very famous but some are not at all. In retrospect more than 50% of those questions are pretty hard. Thanks for trying it out. A majority of these can be watched on YouTube or through the internet archive at this point. Most from the quiz are worth watching I think.
6/10 – mostly down to good guesswork. I mean, “everything eventually turns out well” and “film noir” – what would anyone guess? 😉 Great quiz, Howard!
I should have offered yes, no, and hardly on that one where two were correct. Six is good. Lizabeth Scott is a bit obscure in spite of “Too Late For Tears”. Hey, the poisoned by “live jazz music” was inspired by one of your quiz questions. Thanks for playing.
I got 5 right – awesome quiz!
5 is great. Some of the questions would need a fan who recently refreshed their memory. Thanks for giving it a go!
2/10 I had so much fun
It’s pretty old stuff. Thanks for playing along. (you aren’t being sarcastic I hope) lol
You might just cruise around in the Lineup for fun. It’s full of SF in ’58. At the end they film in Sutro Baths … https://youtu.be/BCytJT6TL5s
