Why are bonfires burning? ~ Themes by the Month

I present a bonfire in the challenge of Theme of the Month. I took a picture at a sports park where they do bonfires every year. Have you ever wondered why every year on the evening before the first May light a pile of wood and hang out with him? The bonfires have been passed down to modern times from tradition. This custom was taken over by labor movements around 1890. The burning of bonfires made workers aware of their rights and continues to do so today. But it has also  another meaning. According to all the researches so far, bonfire goes back a long way in history, that is, to periods when people understood the birth and waning power of the sun every year. The spring lights are supposed to help him, to warm up and shine with full force as soon as possible.
