When we can have container homes, we can have wine barrel homes too. One can think of building a home using abandoned trucks or buses too. This way, you convert something worthless to an useful residence. I am not sure why no one has thought of that.

Around here, 30-gallon wine barrels are often cut in half and used as planters. They are quite attractive.
