Today, preparing breakfast for me and husband, I remembered my friend who was a guest in my home for three days not long ago, who flew thousands of kilometers to meet with me, bringing to us friendship, laughter, tears – those two kinds of tears, both sadness and laughter – and the finest Benedict eggs in the world that we were pampered with every morning. Thought and love woven in food make it magical. And turns it into a never-ending memory.
It is said that all roads lead to Rome. But indeed, all paths lead to a heart where love and friendship reside. And it does not matter then the kilometers separating you and those rare crumbs – one or two meetings a year. Because we live in each other’s heart every day.
Because without real things in life – real food, real love, real friendship, real words, real unselfish actions – we are nothing.
Always keep your true friends in your hearts and minds.

I have a handful of really good and close friends and I have to say even though I have never met any of them I have many sincere and wonderful online friends, you included. Most of the time I am alone and it is great to get online and correspond with friends.
