when I first met my mother-in-law i made a roast from her and my father-in-law. I embedded cloves of garlic in the meat.
she freaked out and said it would be too spicy.
For the rest other life, she embedded garlic closes when she made a roast!
(she loved it when it was done)!

Garlic, turmeric and ginger would be high pretty high up on the list for me.
I know that garlic is very healthy. But my stomach does not tolerate garlic well.
