To bee or not to bee

My apologies for being late for the Macro Monday challenge, it seems real life keeps meddling with my virtual one.

This is a photo that calls for Spring, I wanted to capture the simple beauty of the Crocus and the beautiful sunny day. After taking the picture I saw there was a bee there, happy and ready for work. Can you see the bee?

  1. Spring is so near, our neighbor, well in the same area has four beehives in their back yard. I have often wanted to stop by and watch the bees.

You have inspired me to do so!

    • I’m very glad I was a source of inspiration! Be careful though, it can be dangerous to get too close to a beehive. My father had some when I was a kid and I used to get stinged a lot. It was no problem, painful, but nothing serious. Until one day I got stinged by a huge wasp and I went into shock. Since then I must be very careful, I became allergic to bee’s venom.

  2. Nice photo and yes, saw the bee. Bees are often threatened as a population and do a lot of helpful work for people. Not only do they produce honey and honey products but they also pollinate our fruit and vegetables.
