I found this to be true in life but the getting back may take some time and usually not in a way where you expect. For me, if I give I wish to do without resentment but freely, there is nothing worse than someone who gives but wears out the coat they have given by complaints.
In a way it is best to give than receive, but I find I always have enough to get by…
