Being in dark times, losing loved ones, depression, whatever life throws your way, is a struggle. Many of us have been there. It is during all of these hard times that you regain your strength, your courage and the will to live again. A much stronger person because of what has happened.
As long as you take it a step at a time, or a day at a time, keep moving forward and you will eventually start to see the light again. Always remember, no matter what you are going through, this too shall pass.

The path from darkness is the hardest one to travel. By nature, humans seek the light. But the darkness sometimes holds us. Breaking free and finding a path our, means we have to share that path with others and help them along the way!
I agree with every word. I was held down for a long time by the darkness. Almost too long, I started feeling comfortable there. Not a good place to be. And now I try to help anyone I can. Thanks for these words!

Taking one day at a time is how I live every day. I am a fighter like a lion. I have a lot of reasons to keep on fighting, so I will carry on.

That is a great quote and it really applied to the day I found out my soul mate had passed away. There I was with the news, alone in an old creaking house, and with the knowledge, he was never coming back. There was no choice for me I had to be strong because falling completely apart I knew was not the answer
