I got to know about the Trevi Fountain listening to Connie Francis bellowing out the song ‘3 coins in the fountain’ and that was years ago.

I always wondered what it would be to visit there and my dream became a reality when we went on that package tour of Europe.
Rome had other attractions and one that I was fortunate to visit was the St Peter;s Basilica. I will only cover my experience of the Fountain here.
That excitement to be personally there and throw those 3 coins cannot be explaianed.
I did make those wishes but I do not remember what they were now.
There were swimmers in that water body collecting those coins. They must be collecting countless Liras every single day. Nice idea to make money.

Italy is my neighbor and I have been repeatedly in Rome and the Vatican
I went to Vatican too but we spent just a few hours there The Pope was not there and so there was no one at the window.
Never left the US but this is an amazing building and fountain.
I love travel and have covered a bit of India too This fountain is of world fame.

I bet that was a great trip. The only countries I have been to is Mexico and Canada. I would love to visit. Great shot, that water looks so pretty.
