Nearby my house, there is a river. It’s a small, mountain river, that runs fast. Less than a kilometer away it runs into a bigger river called Morava. To be precise, its full name is Juzna Morava (Southern Morava). My little river is the River of Kozare, named after the village, up in mountains, where it springs. While it runs through the rocky areas, the river is narrow and fast, but when it gets down to my village, the river bed is wide, so river gets easier and shallow.
There is a bridge over the river, few meters away of my house. It’s a solid concrete construction with the metal fence and everything, that I don’t like so much. My favorite is a wooden bridge, at the end of the village. I found it accidentally, while wandering with a friend, searching for a spot where I could get down the shore. There were a few suitable spots, but the bridge captured my heart instantly. It is hidden from the street and continues in to a fairy-tale-like path through a birch forest. One can only feel magical in this place. At least, I feel like I am living in a fairy tale. 🙂

A wonderful place … even close to my home is like a river
I’m in love with this village. 🙂 Looks like a fantasy world to me. 🙂
Wuawww… I really admire the nature around you, can be very intoxicating just looking at it from the photo, and I will not mind enjoying the river all day.
I imagine that you’ve seen more beautiful nature around you, but for me, it’s divine. Living in a city, I’ve never imagined such wonderful places. 🙂
All my life, I love to adventure to explore nature, but the world is too wide for my footsteps. Pleased to see the natural beauty around you.
Wonderful place, looks like a river of my dream with this wooden bridge!!!
If you ever visit Serbia, feel free to come here. 🙂 There are many magical places worth seeing. 🙂
This is really wonderful. You’re lucky you can live in this magical place.
You’re so right about that. 🙂 I’m simply in love with this place. 🙂
I would love to take a photo walk on this river path. And I’d love for you to tell me how you got your photos into the poll. I think I used to do it, but now it looks like I’m supposed to write the questions on the photo or something. I can’t seem to upload the photos for the questions by clicking the camera. I need better directions that the ones in the poll template.
You need to type the question first. Then, the section for photo will be opened. You can add as many photos as you want, as long as you keep posting questions. I tried to add more photos to the text, but it couldn’t work that way.
Thank you. I thought of trying to do that in the intro paragraph, but I decided just to ask my questions about the one intro photo instead.
I tried to do so, but failed. There can be only one photo in the intro paragraph.
Since it all natural , I love nature and such lake and river.
Thanks. 🙂 I love nature too, as you can see. 🙂 That’s why there will be more posts about this magical place. 🙂
While wooden bridges are charming, I don’t like the idea of lumber being used so much these days. Concrete would probably be more eco-friendly
Hahà haha! The bridge is not high and the river is shallow, so nothing would happen even if you’d fall. And lumber is strong enough to endure few persons. But if you prefer concrete bridges, I hope you like frogs, too because there’s a colony of them under that bridge. 🙂
I enjoy frogs on many different levels…
I suppose it’s settled then… 😀
I consider this matter resovled
It would be nice to try fishing on that river Kozari.
Kozaracka reka is good for fishing, but Morava is really full. 🙂 I am not familiar with fish and stuff, but I saw some really big examples in a bucket of a local fisherman. 🙂
Love these photos and would like to hear and see more.
Thanks, Carol. 🙂 I am really in love with this place, so prepare for more landscape photos. 🙂
Wonderful shots Branka, of course I would like to see more. : )
I meant Zaklina, I had just got done reading Branka’s comment. lol
It’s o.k. 🙂 That happens when one reads many posts of different authors. 🙂 At least, both Branka and me are from Serbia and might have similar style. 🙂
What do you mean not so good, they are great. You have a great eye.
Thanks, Kim. 🙂 You’re more than kind. 🙂
Thanks, Kim. 🙂 I promise you more of this fascinating landscape pictures. 🙂 I mean, my pictures are not so good, but the landscape is amazing. 😀
Great pictures – the river looks like a lot of fun. Do people canoe, raft or drift down the river?
Thanks, Dock. 🙂 The river is too small for boats of any kind, except the paper ones. 😀
great survey, beautiful photos
Thanks, Branka. 🙂 It’s a magical place itself. 🙂
That wonderful nature, like a fairy tale
