While out and about, I saw this beautiful yellow pansy looking all happy and friendly. I had to snap a photo with my iPhone. Always surprised at how well the photos turn out with my phone.
The yellow pansy was like sunshine on a winter and dreary day. It was a day brightener for sure. Had to share with you.
Thought it would also go well with today’s Macro Monday challenge.
Have a wonderful day everyone. Look around, you might miss something as small as this tiny bloom waiting to bring a smile.

Yellow is such a happy colour. It just brightens the mood of the atmosphere.
This photo reminds of a line in the song Keep on moving – ‘yellow is the colour of some rain’.

There he is. Thank you my friend. Like sunshine to my eyes. I love the link, thank you!!!
Beautiful flower. We can also make beautiful pictures with our phone
Thanks, I was really surprised to see this one.
I always only take pictures with my phone and the pictures are just as good
That is good. To get my bird photos on the deck feeder, I use a larger camera.
Yeah I can understand why it captures you!
It’s lovely and bright!!
Definitely helps brighten things up!! 😀
Thank you, I love seeing this unexpected treasure.
Yellow does have cheering properties. Beautiful photo!
It was like sunshine to me, glad you like it too.
Even a single joke some time make you smile and make your day
That is exactly what I mean when I say the little things in life. So very true!
what a beautiful picture Carol. iPhones have really improved their cameras overall!
Thanks Doc, I am still surprised at the cameras on the phone.
the only thing that still gets me is the awkward angle holding the cell.
I am slowly getting used to mine.
i still like my Canon more they are a little easier for me to use!
My Canon is my favorite go to camera. I also love my Nikon. I have it on a tripod and have been snapping blue jays and cardinals with a few snow flakes all day.
That does look like a patch of sunshine. So pretty and strong.
Thanks Dawn, it brightened my day for sure.
A lovely flower as bright as the sun.
I thought the same when I saw it growing on a December day.
we can’t really understand the big things, not the way we understand the little things
Explain that one. I cannot. But it is true.
little things fit more comfortably in your head. large things tend to be complicated…
I agree, sometimes the small things make you more happy compared to what you think are your bigger achievements.
That is why I always say take time and notice the little things. As the saying goes.. Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.
Blooming flowers always makes me smile!
That is great Karen. Good to see you!
That is bright and beautiful. It made me happy.
So glad it made you happy. 🙂
Ýes, but we carry on regardless.Great bloom! I love pansies, Carol. Regards, Andre’
Thanks my friend, good to see you.
I see the polls still have issues. 🙁
I wonder if editing a poll would help a glitch like that. Any idea?
Well look at you smartie pants… the edit worked. Thanks!
