Stare At The Light ~ Let's Do More

This painting was inspired by Susie who remained motionless for a few minutes, staring at the moon, just before giving birth three nights ago. Indeed, I did not really know what she saw, but she clearly looked up a few minutes, and there was only moon up there. Unfortunately, I didn’t have time to take the camera.

At that time, she sat on the wall, like a daydream. I was sitting on the back porch, watching her that look very impressive. As her gaze turned, she looked into my eyes, then stepped and jumped down towards me. She then looked nervous and then began to meow.

Seeing her pacing back and forth, going in and out of the house, tracing the corners, I realized that she was about to give birth soon. Even more so when I saw a lot of the amniotic drops on the floor.

So, that night I became a midwife for her because she did not allow me to stay away from her.

  1. Congratulation for assisting your cat give birth. I have never seen a cat giving birth. My family cat used to give birth at night when we were asleep. I think the cat saw something just like it beats my mind and amazed when I stare at the stars every night when they’re visible.

    • Thanks, my friend. This is really my first experience about that. Actually, this was the second time, but for the first time Susie had a miscarriage and I saw how her fetus lay above and behind the drawer. I agree with you about the possibility that she sees something that beats her mind.
