This painting was inspired by Susie who remained motionless for a few minutes, staring at the moon, just before giving birth three nights ago. Indeed, I did not really know what she saw, but she clearly looked up a few minutes, and there was only moon up there. Unfortunately, I didn’t have time to take the camera.
At that time, she sat on the wall, like a daydream. I was sitting on the back porch, watching her that look very impressive. As her gaze turned, she looked into my eyes, then stepped and jumped down towards me. She then looked nervous and then began to meow.
Seeing her pacing back and forth, going in and out of the house, tracing the corners, I realized that she was about to give birth soon. Even more so when I saw a lot of the amniotic drops on the floor.
So, that night I became a midwife for her because she did not allow me to stay away from her.

Congratulation for assisting your cat give birth. I have never seen a cat giving birth. My family cat used to give birth at night when we were asleep. I think the cat saw something just like it beats my mind and amazed when I stare at the stars every night when they’re visible.
Thanks, my friend. This is really my first experience about that. Actually, this was the second time, but for the first time Susie had a miscarriage and I saw how her fetus lay above and behind the drawer. I agree with you about the possibility that she sees something that beats her mind.
I’ve never been in addition, the cat gives birth
For me, it was a memorable experience.

Great editing, and if Alex would attempt your challenge we would all be amazed and in shock lol.
Thanks, LaJenna. I think Alex has always do more even though without write down the challenge title.
I’ve never seen a cat watching the moon so this story was interesting for me. Some of the cats like to play with sunpuddles.
I also saw this for the first time… Very interesting if even sunpuddles attract them….
Interesting how she looked in the moon … or was she even worried?
Â
I don’t know exactly what he saw, but I saw she look up motionless for a few minutes. She may feel anxious because, after that, she forbade me away from her.
What does Suzi think, watching the moon? How many are small? Happy end after watching the moon.
She gave birth to three babies but died one day the next day, and another one on half a day later. So, now only one survives.
cats always like light. have you tried playing with them with the laser pointer? have you tried the laser light with them.. They go crazy
I have also played with cats in many ways, also with light and shadow, but have never known that cats are impressed with the light, especially the moon…
maybe…. especially that kind of moon you have on the picture… beautiful
Moon? No! Actually, it’s just a light that has been edited and repainted. Thanks for the compliment.
I am still waiting for your work patiently anyway. Hehe…
hahaha…. i sold my powerful laptop where i have complete Adobe series. so now I can’t edit picture because this half a kilo laptop which is just for functional use. haha…
but at least my boyfriend said I look like a real lady now and not a donkey.
That is understandable. But I haven’t seen you post anything again yet, is it for the same reason?
what for me being a donkey. haha… yes, I am a donkey …
Nope! To understand that you are experiencing difficulties with the availability of computers.
haha… also my time. i don’t have that much time. quite busy here
Ahhh… I wish I could help you there.
better to be busy than idle. otherwise i will go crazy.
Hmm… maybe she saw a fairy and a rabbit on the moon lol
I thought that was the most likely, even though she didn’t want to answer when I asked what she saw. She just meowing.
nice image editing, did you mask the cat yourself?
I only dare to put my name on the painting if I myself have done it. Thank you for the hidden compliment, brother.
there are filters and such that will mask for you, or you can create a mask yourself. I guess my question wasn’t clear…
I just cut, copy, and paste the cat with GIMP then tidy it up free hands with paint 3D. What filter do you suggest to simplify work?
back in the day, I used KPT smoothie but lately I generate my own content with alpha masks so I don’t need to worry about that sort of thing anymore…
Ha! I don’t even know both of them. I am still unfamiliar with the design program… It seems that I am still stuck in the middle zone between the canvas and paper with a computer program.
That’s why I was confused when you said about “mask”. I learn something from you here.
it is an old photography term that is now used in art programs
Thank you for this enlightenment, brother
I wouldn’t call it enlightenment, more of a FYI
She looks like my Brendel. And yes I have witnessed a cat giving birth. Sounds like Susie saw something in the moon that perhaps spoke to her.
Yes, I also remembered your Brendel when used the cat’s photo.
Seeing a cat give birth is indeed a unique experience.
I don’t know what he was staring at for a few minutes, but it could be as what you said.
We will never really know what she was thinking.
You are absolutely right about it, Carol.
