Today I’m going to show you some beautiful mountains covered in thick snow. I painted everything from Tamar, one of the most beautiful glacial valleys in the Julian Alps in the extreme NW of Slovenia. In the west it is bounded by the Mojstrovka ridge (2366 m), Travnik (2379 m), Jalovška škrbina (2138 m) and Goličica (2394 m), and to the east by the Ponc ridge. The most beautiful city above the Tamar valley has the most beautiful Slovenian mountain Jalovec (2645 m) for many. Its panorama is also depicted in the sign of the Alpine Association of Slovenia.

I have read and commented on both posts
With great pleasure, dear friend
Thank you, too, dear friend
We have a warm weather + green grass now, waiting for the snow!!!
Thanks for watching and kind comment, dear friend…we are also waiting for the snow in the lowlands although I do not miss it here
It’s a feeling of marvel to look at their majestic sight. I’d walk along the trail at the foot of a mountain, or at least about 150-200 meters climb up the mountain.
Thank you for your visit and nice comment, dear friend…
I live near one big mountain and it snows there often.
Thanks for viewing and a friendly comment, dear friend
Love the picture , i have never seen snow except in the pictures and on TV.
Thanks for watching and kind comment, dear Dawn…Come visit …. we have enough here but only in the mountains …. a bad hour’s drive and I’m in the snow
I like to visit some lower hill.
Thank you for your visit and nice comment, dear Vidocka….these mountains are a little too big for us
I will certainly not visit these mountains
I like to believe you … I don’t either …. you have to be a real mountaineer for that
At the mountain, there is plenty of snow, but this winter was poor in the snow in my area!
Thanks for viewing and a friendly comment, dear Ileana….there was nothing with me either …. enough in the mountains
it snowed yesterday in DC. the ground was covered and traffic stopped!
Your picture is amazing pal!
Thanks for watching and kind comment, dear friend….there was nothing in the lowlands here this winter … enough in the mountains … if I haven’t had it by now I don’t even need it
yesterday was our storm so far, barely an inch of snow
I say, if there was no snow for Christmas and the new year now it does not have to
i would agree and then we got snow. now I am over it. Spring may start today!!!!
I also immediately sign that spring begins
That is always a great combination of blue sky, white snow, and mountains
Thank you for your visit and nice comment, dear Sandra
Mountains clad with snow – a super duper view.
Thanks for viewing and a friendly comment, dear Grace…..
your splash image makes the mountains look like teeth
Thanks for watching and kind comment, dear friend….they really look like that
they bite at the sky. kinda spooky
All of these mountains have hiking trails so you can visit them if you have a lot of strength and fitness
that’s something I did in my youth
I also tried something, but gave up quickly … it’s very tiring
Such beautiful photos, I love the rocky peaks!
