Strolling through some of my spring and summer photos on this cold Monday morning.
Came across this bumble bee enjoying my sedum in the pink spring stages. This is the Autumn Joy that changes colors from green to pink and then burgundy.
Sharing with today’s Macro Monday Challenge. Enjoy your day everyone.

I like bees, I don’t like wasps beautiful photo
I never thought bees could be cute, but this one is a cute on lol for real.
I love seeing them up close with the camera.
I can’t tell how big it is, but it looks big! I tend to be afraid of huge buzzing critters, no matter how harmless they could be. ?
Even wasps have a purpose and can be useful, this cutie can definitely help. ?
They will not harm you unless you invade their space, I keep my distance.
What if they’re invading OUR space? Just kidding. ?
Whenever I see bees and flowers I crave for honey.
So do I Bradley, love the honey bees. Good to see you.
That could be the starting of a new poem for you perhaps.
when you say it that way (in the garden) it reminds me of the movie Being There.
The fragility of the garden is displayed in the creatures that frequent it.
You are right Doc, these insects are very useful in our gardens for pollination.
they truly provide a great service!
Many are afraid of them, but it is all about respect.
they are disappearing so fast
Great shot! It’s always fun to watch everything in your yard.
Thank you dear Albert, I so enjoy my yard and garden as you know.
Yes, and I’m glad to enjoy it too from here.
Fantastic picture dear Carol. You’ve got it from the right angle too.
Thanks, I took several on that day. He did not mind.
Bees help pollination and so useful in gardens
Yes they do, even this bumble bee has a purpose.
It’s important that gardeners everywhere keep these wonderful creatures in mind when planting.
You are so right, another reason for my post, they are important.
And honey bees are on the decline sadly.
I think the plant in these colors is the most beautiful.
Thanks, I like this sedum very much.
The pink stage is very pretty I agree. The burgundy is as well.
Awesome photo. Back in Riga, Latvia we had a garage with a sort of crawl space on top. One year we had a huge bumblebee nest formed up inside that space and were considering asking local bee growers what to do when the bees took care of it themselves and went looking for another home,
Glad you called in the professionals, that can be very dangerous. I never see but a few in the spring and summer.
Great macro image, dear friend
Thanks, a great memory from the spring garden.
We are coming to a time when we want to remember the spring and summer … I have enough winters quickly
Such a gorgeous capture!
Thank you so much! Appreciate you.
This was a great spring garden memory.
Insects has very special role in garden, one cannot ignore them
I agree they are very important.
They should all be respected.
