This disgusting creature almost destroyed my lemon tree. It t looks very similar to white cotton. I have tried several ways to get rid of him but I still haven’t succeeded completely. It continued to appear even though I thought I had removed all their eggs.
Maybe I should get some ladybugs. Maybe that’s how I can get rid of them!

Do you know any way to get rid of this creature without using chemicals?

I’ve no idea… but thanks for putting this one out, now we all could get answers about this bug!
I hope some of the suggestion works for you! 🙂
I have seen this insect long time ago
sorry your lemon tree has such a parasite. No clue how to get rid of them sorry.
Put some table salt on them!
Solid salt or salt solution? Do not destroy the leaves of the lemon?
I don’t think powder salt would do any harm to lemon leaves.
If you get rid of your critters you will not be able to capture them in your camera (lol)
It will not be a misfortune! I don’t want such creatures on my balcony. I’ll find enough outside!
That bug inhabits our mango tree sometimes and its larva has stinging hairs. I use insecticide spray to eliminate those bugs.
I wouldn’t want to put chemicals over the lemon.
Never met a mealybug but looks like a nasty creature. Perhaps this link can help you.

It is the most unpleasant creature I have ever seen. Thanks for the link.
I am also looking for a natural solution…
If you find a way to get rid of them let me know!?
Looks like mealy bugs to me. Have you tried using a spray of natural soap mixed in water. 5ml to one liter of water.
Yes It is mealy bug. I tried this but without success.
If it doesn’t work with natural soap use dish soap mixed with edible oil. It works all the time for me.
However, you may have to spray in every cranny and crevice and continue another dose for a couple of weeks.
Sounds like lady bugs would be the best solution.
I think so, but I can’t find them now! I don’t know where they hid!
They will make an appearance eventually.
