Que sera, sera ~ Wednesday Shadows

Borrowing the title of a song written by Jay Livingston and Ray Evans that appeared in the 1956 film Alfred Hitchcock, The Man Who Knew Too Much, where Doris Day and James Stewart became the stars who sang it, I want to illustrate how our people behave and what will happen no later than May 22 later.

The picture above is a photo of a part of my collection of Buddha head sculptures.  The peace in the silence of Sidharta Gautama while meditating is my current attitude, but as part of my country’s people, and as an activist, I also cannot just stand by watching the ongoing situation.

Our people have moved everywhere and will start entering Jakarta from all provinces and regions and take to the streets from May 20. Hopefully, we will be safe and well, but:

Que sera, sera,

Whatever will be, will be

The future is not ours to see Que sera, sera

What will be, will be.

  • Are you willing to pray for us?

  1. Of course you and your family are always in my thoughts. I hope things will remain safe and will calm down soon. Hopefully others will come to their senses and realize all of the disagreements are replay not worth the efforts. Stay safe.

Your Buddha collection is incredible. I know your meditation will keep you in a calm space.

    • Really, your sympathy and support really encouraged me, Carol. That is very valuable. Hopefully, the divine miracle will manifest as a political miracle above the alleged strong conspiracy involving all the authorities and even the streamline media.

I am always calm and peaceful inside, Carol. But I will be very selfish if I don’t side with the people who are suffering.

  2. You will be with me, your family, and, of course, the whole nation, my dear friend … if you would have known I would pray for you … but did it become so bad? I know the song well, even though I was only born at that time … I can not remember the film
