I recently put my writing into the Ginger app to make sure I had not made any mistakes. Read my concerns from the questions below. Your answers will help me not make future mistakes.
I wrote a poem entitled ‘Rocking Chair’ and when I tried to paste it nothing happened. Now I can only remember half of what I wrote. I went back to the app thinking it would be there, but I was wrong.

keep a local copy and then edit another version
Thank you I will do that.
some apps will automatically create a backup for you
No I don;t use any app
Thank you Witty for the comment.
Use word or any other word processor. It is safe that way. hope that helps.
Thank you Dawn. Ginger is an app for that but my writing vanished so I am switching to grammarly.
For important writings like stories or poems, I always use the word processor and just copy-paste later to the website or app.
Thank you Alex, instead of the word processor I usually use the app Ginger. I had it completely finished, and had copied it. I was trying to paste it, but when it did not work I went back to Ginger. Then I saw it was gone for good
I agree with Doc and also use Grammarly and I also save all my work to folders so I always can looi anything up,.
I think I will switch to Grammarly as well. My latest poem I can’t remember how it went, and now it is gone So sad! Thank you!
Looks like Doc gave you some good advice. I am not familiar with the app you mentioned.
Thank you Carol, I think I will try Grammarly.
LaJenna I use Grammarly to do the same thing. It actually works inside of word, office applications and here directly on Virily.
Thank you Doc Anderson! Usually if I go back to the app of my most recent work the writing is visible or on the clipboard, but this time it was gone.
that is why i like grammarly it sits in the app you are using and doesn’t take the text out.
