Petals ~ Wednesday's Shadows

Sharing this special photo with Wednesday’s Shadows challenge. I was out in Dustin’s garden and as I scattered the rose petals, they fell onto his memorial stone below. It lies just beneath the rose bush. I caught the sun’s shadows on the angel as well.

This is another reason the garden is such a special place to visit. I never know the little things I will see. The petals just fell to the angel below. How ironic is that. More of the little things that keep me going.

Focus your energy on the fragrance and beauty of the petals not on the thorns. ~Amit Ray

  1. What a beautiful memorial stone. Of course the petals, the angels and God would be attracted to it to protect it from harm and to make memories last forever. Beautiful scene…

  2. Yes, guardian angels are real.

I had an experience when my youngest was only 3 years old. One day my daughter was running to the kitchen. It was raining outside. I didn’t notice that there was a hole in the ceiling so the rain was going through and the floor was wet. I was running after her when I realized it but it was too late for me. She slipped on the wet floor. I was expecting that she will fall on her back and her head will hit the floor.

But right before my eyes I saw the miracle. Yes, she fell. She fell slowly as if someone or something is holding her or preventing her from falling fast. Her head did not even touch the floor. The only thing that I was able to say that time was “Thank you, Guardian Angel, for saving my daughter.”

    • Thanks, it was not planned, sometimes the best ones.

Yes I pretty much know where you stand. We have talked about it many times.

  3. The petals are drawn to the angel …
or perhaps the angel wants them there so someone will be happy seeing a beautiful “picture” 🙂
