Sharing this special photo with Wednesday’s Shadows challenge. I was out in Dustin’s garden and as I scattered the rose petals, they fell onto his memorial stone below. It lies just beneath the rose bush. I caught the sun’s shadows on the angel as well.
This is another reason the garden is such a special place to visit. I never know the little things I will see. The petals just fell to the angel below. How ironic is that. More of the little things that keep me going.
Focus your energy on the fragrance and beauty of the petals not on the thorns. ~Amit Ray

What a beautiful memorial stone. Of course the petals, the angels and God would be attracted to it to protect it from harm and to make memories last forever. Beautiful scene…
Trust and belief are the key of mental strength.
What a powerful statement. Thank you!
Yes I believe angels are very real. I have had an experience and an angel saved my life . It is a long story. Lovely photo
Glad you also have a story and that you are still here. Thank you.
Such a special stone with shadowing angel. Just love it!
Thanks and yes it is very special.
what a wonderful picture, and thought. I do believe that the spirit of those who lived before, remain with us,w atching us.
Thanks Doc and I have to believe as well. Keeps me going.
Sometimes, when I have a computer problem I swear I hear my dad laughing.
And you probably do. I think it’s ok for us to believe what we choose.
That is the hard part, sometimes the rest of the world doesn’t look at things that way.
I believe in angels
It’s a good luck even to see it like this It’s great
Thanks and I don’t believe luck had anything to do with it.
Good pix shot , Yes , Garden is the best to place to visit.
Thanks and I agree with you.
I do believe in Guardian Angels who come in forms like strangers who save lives.
Thanks for sharing. I believe angels can come in many forms and are missed by many.
You have a good point here.
That picture looks so good, I hope it gives you peace to visit your loved ones in their resting place.
Thanks Dawn but this is a memorial garden only in my backyard for my son.
What a wonderful memorial. I am sorry for your loss.
Thank you very much, I try to add different flowers to it each year.
A wonderful shot. I think there is something that sometimes protects us
Thanks and I believe as well.
Yes, guardian angels are real.
I had an experience when my youngest was only 3 years old. One day my daughter was running to the kitchen. It was raining outside. I didn’t notice that there was a hole in the ceiling so the rain was going through and the floor was wet. I was running after her when I realized it but it was too late for me. She slipped on the wet floor. I was expecting that she will fall on her back and her head will hit the floor.
But right before my eyes I saw the miracle. Yes, she fell. She fell slowly as if someone or something is holding her or preventing her from falling fast. Her head did not even touch the floor. The only thing that I was able to say that time was “Thank you, Guardian Angel, for saving my daughter.”
What an experience and I agree with you. What other explanation could it have been.
Wonderful shot, Carol.
The ability to see miracles is the ability to understand and see the universe in small things.
I’m sure you know what I think about guardian angels, right?
Thanks, it was not planned, sometimes the best ones.
Yes I pretty much know where you stand. We have talked about it many times.
The petals are drawn to the angel …
or perhaps the angel wants them there so someone will be happy seeing a beautiful “picture” 🙂
Yes I believe they are. It was a magical moment.
The flowers were really beautifully decorated with a memorial stone, dear Carol
Thanks, they just scattered on their own, as if they belonged, I guess they do.
I believe that’s why it looks so beautiful
You are very kind, thank you my dear friend.
Thanks also for your kindness, dear Carol
