It was raining when I wrote this post, a post for my participation in Wet for November Themes by the Month Challenge by Kim. The photo above is the atmosphere of rain in the backyard garden at noon.
I know that many people like rain for various reasons but there are also many people who don’t like rain. I myself like rain because there are many reasons that are personal in addition to reasons based on the benefits. At least I like rain because of the atmosphere it creates, so much water falls from the sky which is like a miracle, the music that being birth when it happens, the inspiration that comes when watching it, etc.
In addition, rain occurs because of a process – be it frontal rain, orographic rain, and Zenith rain as a type of rain that occurs in my country – which basically involves many factors like climate, weather, water, wind, sun, time, altitude, weight, etc. This reality at least shows that an event or situation never happened due mere to one thing or one party but because of a process that involved many parties or factors. By understanding this, I am always aware that whatever happens to me or anyone must have gone beyond a process that involves many things, including myself or the person who experienced the incident, and that can also make us supposed to be aware that it is not easy to blame one or two parties, other than the need to be wise so that it is not easy to complain when experiencing unpleasant events or vice versa does not dissolve in euphoria when experiencing events is very encouraging. Maybe it’s better if we often introspect, evaluate, find solutions, learn lessons, and be grateful so that we can get the most from every event that we experience.

Rain is a blessing, it cleanses, quenches thirst and causes plants to grow..
You are one hundred percent right, even though rain often brings floods, but if that happens, it must be due to many factors.
Sure that we can get useful lesson (s) from every event that we experience. At the same time we may not even notice it.
You are right, we have learned many useful lessons without realizing it, for many reasons.
Like, for example, meeting a karmic soulmate? That one can change a person in a huge way. Like I cannot relate that much to the person I was 5 years ago.
At least there is one person touched the meaning of this writing up to that point of understanding. A person’s insight really determines the breadth of his perspective, unless that insight is hidden or hide.?
Relationships, indeed it is also a process that involves many factors to be realized.
As to being touched by meaning, more than 4 years ago when I read Jiddu Krishnamurti I cannot make the head or tail of his words even when I understand every single English word he wrote. After more than 4 years, I revisited the words and started to see. Sometimes, a person requires ripening ?
That is why you should not be bored sharing insights because who knows someone will pick your fruit of thoughts or insights.
But what is the use of insights if the person reading it is too lazy and too immature to do the work? We can only be a light to our own self, isn’t it Professor?
You are right about the light, but Sidharta Gautama, the Prophets, the Sufis, Mystics, and others never hesitate to share their light even though many people refused, or yet do not understand, true?
Those were enlightened souls who get the big picture. I, on the other hand, am a blind groping in the dark and trying to understand life too ?
So, have you changed your decision not to be light anymore but darkness?
Lightness and darkness belongs to the same pole. The polarity happens only in a person’s mind ?

Yes, I have experienced many, and yes, each time I survive, and learn. We are supposed to get rain next week. I love it.
Yes, Kim. Everyone has experienced many things in life but not everyone is really able to respond to the experience well.
How about today, has it been raining?
True Albert. That is true.
Yesterday did not rain. It started off a bit foggy, then warmed up to shorts and tank top weather, then by noon the clouds and wind picked up. By late afternoon I was wearing a jacket. Rain is called for today. Most of the US is under a winter storm watch today. Heavy rain in the lower states and heavy snow in the northern ones. Winter is knocking at the door.
I am sure you are ready to face the coming of winter and enjoy it with all your heart Kim. Also Meika, Luna & The Gang.
This is San Diego’s best time of year, the winter. I will embrace it from afar. I might go drive up to see the snow this year though.
I hope you find lots of fun and great experiences!
Rain is as much needed as the sunshine. Difficult experiences are as important as the good ones.
So we agree that many things in this world, in general, are important…
That’s true. There’s no light without darkness.
Change is the one constant in the universe. But finding that change within events around us is what makes us learners on the path to where we wish to be.
Yep, you’re right, Doc. I think it is good if we can see ourselves clearly moving forward on all the events that we face and enter.
The one that changed me was that accident a few years ago. I got a new lease of life and that taught me to cherish every living moment.
The side where I feel grateful for you is because you are able to see the other side of life that is more essential after that accident.
There is a silver lining in every cloud
Your awareness of life principles and wisdom is very strong.
Thanks. Life is full of ups and downs. Handle the downs and cling to the ups.
You’re most welcome.
Great!
Everyone has experienced many things in life but not everyone is really able to respond to the experience well.
Every event in life makes us stronger. Each experience also teaches us something.
Such personal principles make it easy for us to enjoy life and get the best from it.
I cannot say that I have experienced any particularly stressful moments in my life, dear Albert … for that matter I was lucky … but I absolutely do not like rain even though I realize that it is absolutely necessary
It is special if your life goes relatively smooth, dear friend.
Yes, I know that some people don’t like rain.
It is not always smooth but it is not stressful, dear friend … there is always a problem, but I usually solve it quickly
Yeah! There is no life without problems right? But problems make us learn a lot.
Unfortunately, no problem really goes … but a lot depends on how you handle it, dear Albert
You are absolutely right, dear friend. Everything depends on the way we look and handle it.
As you know, I have endured many events in my life. I am emerging as a different and stronger person as life goes on. A miraculous event happens each time, from the inside out. It takes time, some events longer than others, but I am in the end, a survivor. And the rain is such a soothing process as well.
Yes, with all the intensity of our conversation so far, I understand how you experience change and become stronger over time.
