A poem by the Bulgarian poet Dimitar Zankov
My sea is inside me –
deep down in my soul it is hidden …
My coast is my spirit unbreakable,
dreaming of flying to the stars!
I can feel this blue in me –
I touch it, even when winter comes …
And I put it in words,
even if i wait for next year …
I’ll wait till the ninth wave! …
Until the beach meeting under the moon …
I’ll turn my heart into verse –
i still have a song not sing …
The mermaid will reach the coast! …
The ninth wave will flood us! …
My sea is in my soul,
and she never stops singing …
The photo is my own and taken in La Mata Torrevieja Spain. These are the remains of a house that was on the seafront.

Do you believe that the sea is sad now without visitors?
-
Yes

No

I think the sea is more relieved than sad without so many people disturbing the ecosystem.
I think the sea would do better with some alone time …
The sea needs some rest. In Venice, the fish came back where the gondolas normally go through
Definitely. It strikes me that now that we are home and many cars are in motion, the air is cleaner. Also, some trash will go into the containers where they fit .. They will not be thrown out to sea.
This is a great poem – the sound of the sea lives in our hearts. But the sea is within us!
I really liked this poem so I published it.
it inspired me to write my wander project today – thank you!
I think the sea needs some respite from people too. I love the idea behind the poem.
Maybe you’re right and it needs some rest.
I like the way you call it ‘My sea’
I love my sea. I miss you now.
Beautiful photo and poem!
Thanks Eli for the support and the visit.
Beautiful song. I believe the sea is sad too.
I think so too. He misses visitors.
I hope things settle down and get back to normal soon. Take care.
Unfortunately, things get complicated here. There are 2 or 3 cases of infection in the city where I live. Which is good.
