Sharing a photo with today’s Macro Monday challenge. After last nights rain showers there were many raindrops left in the garden.
This marigold was covered in drops. I love seeing the raindrops with the macro lens. Nature is so amazing to see. And so much to offer all of us.
A reminder to make sure you stop to enjoy the little things. Life is better when we enjoy the day, our attitudes help get us through as well.
Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day. You shall begin it serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense. ~Ralph Waldo Emerson

“Look upon my works ye mighty and despair.” But as far as the travelers could see all they saw was sand.
Ozymandias Percy Blythe Shelley.
It speaks to vanity and the world around us.
Love that one Doc, you always have interesting quotes, thanks for the name as well. I can read more.
quotes are a personal passion – love collecting and using them!
They have gotten me through many difficult days.
That is a good way to keep moving!
Yes, to have a good attitude is great but it is also great to talk honestly and be yourself with friends…
Absolutely Pam. Honesty is the only way to go through life. I have no room for anything else. And I am always me, take me or leave me.
Nice picture of flowers and rain drops, dear Carol
Thanks so much my friend Lado. It was a nice walk after the rain in the garden.
Wonderful capture , thank you carol
And I thank you as well for your comments.
That is an African Marigold. A perfect Marigold by all standards You rock Carol?
This is my own quote
“It is not how much you have but what you make of what you have is the route to happiness”
Thank you very much my friend Grace! I love original quotes. And that is a good one. Such truth in those words.
This is a great shot and a beautiful flower. We also have a very humid weather that I do not tolerate well.
Thanks again my friend, raindrops after the storms were beautiful. I cannot handle the humidity. I hope your weather gets better soon.
Many healthy concern alerts have been issued. Those with COPD and asthma, breathing problems, are having it rough right now.
I totally agree. Now I have discovered heart problems that make my feelings worse.
Oh my, I am so sorry to hear about that. Please take care of yourself. Hugs to you!
Dear Carol, thank you very much for your concern
Once again “We don’t see things as they are, we see them as we are…”
Sorry I keep repeating myself, but I like reading others favorites.
de nada. could’ve also done Hamlet’s nothing good or bad, but thinking makes it so line
You could talk every day in poetry. And still have more to say.
I will leave the verse to Bradley…
He speaks in poetry, you speak in art. Although you seem to do both very well.
A lovely golden flower. Enjoyed. My favorite quote has always been Per aspera ad astra which means “through hardships to the stars” and isn’t that the way it always goes in life that we strive to make our dreams come true.
Thanks I love this one. Reminds me of sunshine.
Yes that is how it seems to go in life. We have to push through these times. Wish it wasn’t so hard sometimes.
I envy you for the cool nights. Here in heat I can not sleep normally. My favorite color is green.
Well, it is not very cool lately, with the humidity. Good for you!
Such lovely capture!
Love the colours and the clear water droplets!!
Thanks, I love walking in the garden after a rain.
Another beautiful capture. I have trouble moving on from my blunders. I have to work on that.
Thank you friend! Blunders? We all have them, it will get better. 🙂
Just keep the past in the past. I know, that sounds easy but is very hard to do.
