Macro Monday – Pink flower

Macro photography is the art of taking close-up pictures which show us details that can’t be seen with the naked eye. As I said many, many times,  a macro photograph is one in which the size of the subject on the sensor is equal or greater  than its life size.

Do not blame me!  I have seen many photos posted in this challenge that do not meet the criteria of macro photography. Not everyone is familiar with what macro photography means and that’s why I found useful to recall this.

This is a small bud of a flower in my “garden”. It is only 5 mm in diameter. Soon the bud will turn into a bunch of flowers. I’ll show you its evolution!

  • Do you have any idea what this flower is called?

  1. Well, I just got here from clicking our link in the process post. I can see that it is a sedum, but not an autumn joy as they do not have spots, and the flowers come away from the leaves. This one is really beautiful. Carol needs this one in her garden!!
