Lily Buds ~ Wednesday Shadows

Sharing a photo with Wednesday’s Shadows challenge. My Day Lilies are full of buds. There will be lots of yellow blooms soon. I snapped this photo earlier when I noticed the shadows. Thought it would be cool to share.

More of the little things in nature to see and learn about. Day Lilies are nice flowers. Each day you will see new blooms. Depending on the weather, they usually start blooming in mid-spring and continue blooming through the end of summer. They are like a ray of sunshine.

Then you cut them back at the end of summer. They return in the spring. That is why I love perennials. Very low maintenance plants to have in your garden.

  1. I used to blame birds and animals for being partial to you since they pose well for you. How am I going to blame these lily buds for posing well? Great shot Carol. ?

      • I never blame you Carol but the nature for being partial to you. But I guess the nature favours the ones who care for it. Your passion for gardening is amazing.
