Little late posting today. Have been very busy.
Sharing a photo from my spring garden. Lilac bushes are so beautiful and fragrant. The butterflies and hummingbirds visit often.
They only bloom a few weeks then they are gone until the next spring. But always worth the wait. I remember my Grandmother having these lilacs blooming in her garden.

Lilacs and lavenders are plants I wish i had in my garden. we don’t have them here.
The ones that bloom less frequently become extra special for us. These Lilac bushes are special in that sense.
Beautiful flowers. It really is a shame they cheer us on for so little time
Such lovely flowers, I am not sure whether I have seen them or not, but lovely photo
Thank you Pam. You smell them before you see them. Very fragrant.
I enjoy seeing these flowers, Thank you!

A beautiful and very fragrant flower, my dear friend
Thanks dear Lado good to see you.
I love the time when lilacs bloom, they are so fragrant.
Yes they are the first to bloom here n the spring.
Only wish they lasted longer. 🙂
This is a Great think.
I really wish you would say something different on my posts. I appreciate the visits.
Are you reading my posts, one has to wonder. 🙂
The wonder of flowers, plus the wonder of memories. I take pictures of flowers to remember the beauty.
But like you I also remember people with flowers.
My life is made happy because of all the memories I have.
I agree – the richness we have from memories allows us to pay forward the gifts to others!
Perfectly said. I could not survive without them.
Lilac trees are my favorite blooming tree. Their fragrance is also so relaxing. Unfortunately they do not last too long but still enough to enjoy them….
Yes, these only get about 4-5 feet tall but full of fragrant blooms.
That is the one thing I miss the most about my time in Latvia when lilacs bloomed every May they were everywhere and I had a garden full
They are usually the first thing to bloom in the spring.
